We first met over a video call, during the heights of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Although Suzy was unsure at first, Jason knew that she was something special. It took some persuasion, but Jason managed to convince Suzy to have a proper date in person.
One date quickly became two; two dates became four; and before we knew it, we were on a 3 week trip to Vancouver together. That trip sealed the deal, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.
Fast forward to 2022, and Jason decided that he didn’t want to have a “girlfriend” anymore. On a bright, beautiful morning in Turkiye, Jason asked Suzy to watch the sunrise from the top of Love Valley in Cappadocia. There, among the myriad of hot air balloons and cotton candy coloured skies, Jason got on one knee and proposed.
It’s been over 3 years since that fateful video call, and we’re both so excited for what the future will bring.
